Discerning Your Path
Every vocation begins with a question: “Lord, what do you want of me?” Discernment is not about finding quick answers, but about opening your heart to God’s gentle voice. You are not alone on this journey—Mary and the Marists walk with you.

What is Vocational Discernment?
Discernment is a journey of listening. It means learning to recognize the signs of God’s presence in your daily life, your desires, and your struggles. In the Marist tradition, we believe that discernment flows from prayer, community, and service. It is not simply about choosing a path, but about allowing God to reveal who you truly are and how your life can become a gift for others. Every step you take in openness and trust draws you closer to the One who calls you by name.

A Journey Step by Step

Accompaniment: You Are Not Alone
God often speaks through the people He places in our lives. That is why accompaniment is at the heart of discernment. Walking with a guide can help you see more clearly, recognize God’s voice, and grow in freedom. If you feel called to take this step, we are here for you. Reach out and begin a conversation—you may be surprised at how God has already been preparing your heart.
